Blooms in Brides Magazine

We are super excited that Brides Magazine is using a photo with our work for one of their editorial pieces. Flower girls are one of my favorite elements of weddings, we all know I love children and they just help to add to the magic of a wedding day.
The image was taken by the uber talented KT Merry. KT was just listed as one of the top 20 rising stars in wedding photography by the PDN magazine. (Thats Photo District News, a professional journal for those of us who are not uber talented wedding photographers)

Oak Farm Vineyard Wedding Lodi California the Reception

Today the last installment of one of my all time favorite weddings. It really was a magical day/night! The family was so sweet, the vendors love each other, it makes for a great combination.
After the wedding ceremony, the guest walked to the pond for the cocktail reception. After a time of mingling, the bride and groom led all the wedding guests with banners streaming, to the wedding dinner reception. How festive is that?
After dining outdoors fed a wonderful dinner by Wine Valley Catering, they danced the night away to the sounds of the fabulous Pop Rocks.
Our couple opted for a small wedding cake and a blow out dessert bar complete with root beer floats, A & W our couples initials.

Oak Farm Vineyard Wedding Lodi California the Ceremony

After the guests strolled down the "Welcoming" entry they were treated to refreshments at the beverage station before they were seated at the ceremony.

For the beautiful ceremony area at Oak Farm Vineyard, we had an architect design these amazing arches to create the feeling of an outdoor chapel. I do offer them for rent to Blooms brides:)
Blooms by Martha Andrews created a two tiered floral chandelier to be the focal point for the bride and groom to stand under while they took their vows.
We then placed tin buckets full of babies breath at the base of each arch. The guests were seated from on of three aisle ways. Then are beautiful bride entered from a path facing the guests while being escorted by her father.
The oak tree offered an amazing spot to be married.

I always tell my brides that the photographer is your most important vendor, they are the one who sill capture all the beauty of the day, all the hard work you have put into planning your wedding. I'm sure you agree that Tanja Lippert, one of the best I work with, did a fabulous job of creating images from this wedding day.
Tia Regan was instrumental in making all of the ladies of the day, mother of the bride, sister of the bride and grandmother look their very best with her great wedding hair and make up skills.
And of course choosing such a lovely wedding venue, Oakfarm Vineyard was one of the first smart choices our couple made.

Oak Farm Vineyard Wedding Lodi California part 1

What can I say, this was one of my favorite weddings this season. I was able to work with some of my favorite vendors and with a wonderful family.

Ashley's mom and dads wedding photo.

The bridal bouquet was made up of cabbage roses, scabiosa pods, bouvadia and lysianthus.

I LOVE what Tia, the fabulous hair and makeup artist did with Ashely's hair, using the succulents was so unique

Love the floral embellishment on the bridal gown.

Ashley's family is so close and loving, it was a joy to be around them on the wedding day.

The guests were greeted at the gate with romantic moss and floral hearts.

The gorgeous farm house at Oak Farm Vineyard.

After parking guest walked past the barn and under the delightful wedding banner

The ceramic plate was what the groom used to propose to the bride, so romantic

A picnic basket for a little refreshment before the ceremony.
